Hello Internet. It's been awhile since I've been able to visit. Busy holiday season, lotsa family stuff and that whole presents thing. I hope everyone ate their fill of fattening holiday foods and imbibed in the holiday cheer of their choice, whatever that may be.
Me, I'm trying to wean myself from the chocolate overdose I've been deep inside since October. It's going to be a rough battle. Wish me well.
So just before Christmas, I was challenged by a friend to participate in contest of sorts, I guess we can call it a blog-off. Each of us will write a weekly post, topic chosen randomly and it doesn't have to be the same topic.
I tried to participate in NaBloPoMo and failed miserably the first go 'round. But methinks I chose my time to begin poorly. The week before vacation, in November, before the election and the start of the holidays. You see my point? Poorly chosen. But... this new challenge is weekly and this I can handle.
Well, the first post goes up later tonight. Once I know where his posts wind up, I'll do some of that linky stuff. You'll have to let us know what you think.
