Nope, the picture is not upside down.
Last year we made the annual migration to Disney and went to Animal Kingdom. This guy was hangin' with his homies, basking in the sun. They are bats, which type I cannot recall, that actually sleep in the sunlight and they are not small bats either. Most of them were bigger than your average housecat.
When I zeroed in on this one, he just looked so damn content hanging upside down, wings lazily fluttering while the sun washed heat and light over his back, with that little smile on his face.
In a next life, I think I might like to hang in the sun all day while humans make certain I have enough food to catch when hungry.
